Spring Classic Israel Tour May 2023
Overview
May is a wonderful time to cycle in Israel. Spring Classic Israel 2023 offers riders the chance to enjoy Israel’s spring weather, while experiencing the country in a way you never could on four wheels.
During this spring classic, we spend time in the glorious north of Israel, the
Jordan Valley, and spend our final days in and around the Judaean mountains. As with every KCT tour, we’ll have SAG support throughout.

TRIP ITINERARY
Sunday, May 14
Pick up at Ben Gurion International Airport at 6pm and bus to Kibbutz Lavi Hotel.
Monday, May 15
57 miles. +5,144 feet, -5,876 feet.
91 kilometers. +1,568 meters, -1,791 meters.
Starting our ride at Rosh HaNikra on the Mediterranean Coast, we will ride to the Galilean Sea – the Kinneret.
Tuesday, May 16
60 miles. +3,366 feet, -5,003 feet.
96 kilometers. +1,026 meters, -1,525 meters.
We’ll ride clockwise around the Kinneret with some added climbing.
Wednesday, May 17
87 miles +2,700 feet, -4,793 feet
140 kilometers, +823 meters, -1,461 meters
Actually, we’ll ride from the Kibbutz Lavi hotel to Beit Ha’Arava. We’ll then drive to Jerusalem.
Thursday, May 18
44 miles. +/- 4,219 feet
70 kilometers. +/- 1,286 meters
The Jerusalem Beit Shemesh loop counterclockwise, including the famous (or infamous) Nes Harim climb.
